Holly is not easy to board in my view - her exuberance would put a lot of people off. She won me over from day one, so boarding her is a decision I don't take lightly.

Anyone boarding her has to be mindful of her role as a guide dog and follow certain rules as a consequence. Boarding a guide dog is a huge responsibility - years of training could so easily be ruined in a few days. From the outset, I knew I'd made the right choice in Spoiled Rotten Pets.

I could tell at once how Holly found the boarding experience from her demeanour - she returned happy, fit, ready for work, having been well looked after; in fact, spoiled rotten - within the rules of course!

I'm writing to thank you and your lovely dog carers (Sheila in Byfleet and Vera & Bill in Kingston Upon Thames) for all they did for Maxie when we relocated to the United States. We had to be parted from him for two months whilst our house was built and we really missed him.

However, both pet sitters kept us in touch by regularly sending text and email messages - and even sent us pictures of Maxie - which helped us to feel close to him.
